Job Summary

From your very first hour on the sales floor, you will troubleshoot point-of-sale hardware and resolve customer account inquiries at a steady pace. This part-time position offers 15 to 25 hours per week with flexible morning, evening, or weekend shifts tailored to fit around your classes or secondary job. You will serve as Part-Time, delivering the signature Resourceful problem solver that sets Retail & Sales Group apart in the retail customer support.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• POS Technical Support: Resolve 20 to 30 routine POS terminal hardware and scanner glitches daily using Lightspeed Retail software to keep checkout lines moving smoothly.
• Customer Inquiry Resolution: Assist up to 40 shoppers per shift with balance checks, merchandise exchanges, and loyalty program lookups using Zendesk on our service tablets.
• Inventory Tracking: Perform 15 hourly stock-level lookups in Square Inventory to locate items across retail departments and assist floor sales associates promptly.
• Shift Handover Documentation: Log 100% of open support tickets in Jira Service Desk before completing your 4 to 6 hour daily shift for seamless transitions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to work 15 to 25 hours per week, including availability for at least one weekend shift.

• Strong verbal communication skills to explain technical troubleshooting steps clearly to store customers.
